You still have to close off the ends, however, in order to generate a B-Rep solid. To do so, combine the curves at each end into a single closed loop using Create>Curve>Chain. You can then create planar trimmed surfaces using each loop as the "outer loop" in the Create>Surface>Trimmed form. Regards, Robin
