Hi All
I have given an expression for power in CFX and now I am running a transient case and hence i want to get the average quantity of the Power. But in the average statitstics its not visible, I might have to create a variable, but I am not sure how. Secondly this averaged power has to be same at the converged RANS simulation value right ? |

Do you want to observe your value during the solution process?
If yes then: You have to make a MONITOR POINT from your expression. it is under output control |

In output control, you should define a monitor equal to your power-expression.
Then in the solver manager, you should create a graph where you plot the power. Then after the run, you can export the values and determine the average in a spreadsheet. I don't understand you second question. I think you mean that the power has to become constant. In that case, if possible yes, but it will be fluctuating a little because of your rotating rotor. |
