CFXSOLVE in BATCH -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

S. Guest Posts: n/a	When you are running CFX5SOLVE interactively, you have the option of editing the definition file while the job is running. Is there any commands or way of changing the defintion file while CFX is running in batch mode? For example, I am doing a problem involving natural convection. I am trying to slowly increase the Ra number (increasing it by chaning gravity, for example) until my solution converges at the Ra number I would like. So, if I am doing it interactively, I can watch the residuals and bump up my Ra number slowly while it is running. In batch mode, I have to stop it, change the parameter I want and start it up again. Thanks.
