jinrong is on a distinguished road
Hello, I recently spent a lot of time in CFX to simulate waves. I have found almost every way, and I have not found a tutorial on CFX making waves. I know that it is probably to add free surfaces in CFX and use CEL to add waves. However, I do not know how to operate it. Do you have a tutorial or specific case on CFX adding waves to help me simulate ?
Sincere greetings !

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
I would recommend to use Fluent for wave simulations. It has a pretty sophisticated wave maker implemented, including automatic beaches to damp reflection, 6DOF, etc.
Even better, go to Star-CCM+.

This post was posted on many threads. This is a breach of forum rules, as multiple posting is not allowed (once is all you need) and was hijacking many other threads (for a new question post a new thread).

I have deleted all the multiple posts and left this one, and moved Gert-Jan's post to this thread.

In future, please - one post only, and start a new thread for a new question.

To answer your question - as Gert Jan states, CFX does not have sophisticated wave making devices like the software Gert Jan quotes can do. In CFX you will need to move fluid in an out of a boundary, or move a flapper or some other action to induce waves, and then you will need to tune it to give the wave size and period you wave.
