Hello everyone,
I am using ANSYS CFX for simulating erosion problem of a pipe bend. In the particle tracking process, there are several forces (virtual mass, pressure gradient, turbulence dispersion) on particles which need to be considered while setting the problem in CFX Pre. For taking into account the turbulence dispersion, there is a model in CFX known as Particle Dispersion. Is this particle dispersion model same as Random Walk Model of Fluent? If not, where can I find it's expression? Thank you so much. |

CFX documentation; Theory Guide, section 6.2.6. Is this particle dispersion model same as Random Walk Model of Fluent? Why don't you look in the documentation of Fluent and CFX and check for yourself whether the models are the same?
