hi dear
i want simulation automobile turbo charger i want align turbine blades to its shell.the end of blades must have 5mm distance from front of its shel.also, blades & its shell must be concentric but shell is not completly cicular. plz help me |

Hi,
What are you processing? Geometry or mesh? Generally, you have to align blades and shroud in CAD system. And what type of simulation? Steady or transient? As you said, the shell is not completely circular. Is it supposed to be this? For steady, it is not important to align a certain blade to the non-circular edge. But it does matter in a transient analysis. |

i modeled blade & shell in catia.my process is in mesh & i intend to do transient simulation.how i can mesh assmbly of blade &shell so that their meshes be in different type???? best reagrd |

shell mean spiral chamber that blades rotate inside it.
