Hi,

I have a little problem. I'm using CFX 11 x64, and when I'm running the solver, the convergence curves will be not plotted continually, but for example at every 10 time step, it's random. On cfx 11x86 I dont get this problem.
I think, it's not normal, is this a bug maybe?

Sorry for my english

Best Regards

Hi,

I think the service pack for V11 corrected some strange bugs in the Win x64 version so have you got that installed? Even better go to V12 as that is the current version.

Hi,

Yes, I've installed the SP1, i've reinstalled the cfx also, but it doesn't help.
Maybe I go to V12. The files in V12 saved, I can't open in V11 right?

Hi,

Well, you should always go to the current release version unless you have a very good reason not to.

In your user directory there should be some CFX temporary files. I think they are under .CFX or something like that. Try deleting it. This will make CFX regenerate the temp files. Or course you will loose any custom settings you have when you do this.
