I am trying to get the displacements of a cylinder moving in a cross flow. I would like to know if Running a 2D case is same as a 3D case.
I mean if I reduce the Mass, Damper and the Spring constant by the length, will my 2D and 3D give the same results ??? Has anyone done such kind of simulations before ??? Thank you. |
