Calculate total flux of species

Hi all,
Does anybody know how to determine the total flux of a scalar (for example mass fraction of a species) at a certain intersection in a domain? From what I have read it is the sum of the diffusive scalar flux and the convective flux, I however struggle to calculate these. The software that I am using is ConvergeCFD

Hi Velkon,
Yes you can determine the total flux by separating the domain into multiple regions using a flow-through interface, and turning on the mass flux output for each species in the output files > inter-region flow rate output.
If you are looking for a specific scalar flux, you can calculate a particular location using the 3D output files and by selecting respective post variables.
