Hello,

I want to map HTC and T_ref of a steady-state simulation onto another FEA simulation. The problem is that the HTC map tool doesn’t work and doesn’t give results. Unfortunately, the transfer.out file is now in this new version a .h5 file, and I can’t open it manually. What is your suggestion?

Also, I find that HTC map can't read h5 files.

I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this problem.

Hey Amin,

The updates with the h5 format were made for both the heat transfer data file and the HTC mapper, so the mapper should be compatible with the .h5 file. Which version of CONVERGE Studio are you using? If possible could you send us the data file from your end so we can conduct tests.

Send us the files at: support@convergecfd.com

Thanks

Hey Basu,

In the 3.2 early access version, the HTC mapper version is still 2021 (as per its log), and it has no problem with older 3.1 transfer.out files.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use .h5 files in this 3.2 version.
