Hi,

Anyone know why i cannot plot surface contour of velocity magnitude on wall surface of BC?
Because at inlet and outlet of BC, contour plot of velocity magnitude can be plot.
* I'm using Acusolve as solver and fieldview as post process

Hi, i'm not sure what are you questioning since i'm relatively new to CFD.
You can plot the countours of the velocity magnitude on a wall easily but an all-blue result is expected since at a wall the velocity is everywhere zero by definition.

You need to make a iso-surface to look at the scalar velocity-magnitude. If you are interested in the flow near the wall I would make an iso-surface then set your scalar function to velocity-mag and your iso function (x,y,z) in the direction parallel to the wall you want to look at. Then you could increase the steps to get really close to the wall and use the sweep bar to move the surface.
