Hi guys,

I'm going to determine the perimeter of many successive planes in a very complex geometry with sharp changes in cross section in stream-wise direction. clearly, they are needed for calculation of hydraulic diameter of each cross section.
Is there any way to calculate the perimeter of planes in FLUENT? The grid was produced in GAMBIT, but the .dbs file is not available and the mesh which is imported to GAMBIT, is a virtual geometry and it is hardly to deal with cutting faces, let say it's impossible. I have also in hand the ICEM CFD.
I will appreciate every one who can guide me in calculating the perimeter of an arbitrary plane in any one of these 3 software.
