Dear all,
I'm carrying on the analysis of a flapping wing in 2D, especially focused on hinge moment. I usually start with a steady analysis till convergence and then switch to a transient analysis. When I simulate 0 degrees of angle of attack I noticed that sometimes the retrieved hinge moment does not have a symmetrical pattern, which is supposed to have being the airfoil and the flap oscillation symmetrical. But, if I stop the calculation and start again, without closing the window, with first steady and then transient simulation, the hinge moment appears to be symmetrical. Provided I do not change any parameter, do you have any idea where my issue is? Thanks |
