Hello there,
I am working with the DPM in fluent. I am spraying diesel in the continuous fluid air. I am assuming the flow of air as steady and spray with dpm as unsteady particle tracking. I have very fundamental question, that due to spray in the flow of air, the properties of the air is changing and flow pattern of the air is also changing (Due to interaction with the spray) and I am getting convergence when the steady state of air is reached. Now when I am generating the animation of the velocity and the mean mixture fraction in the flow path, I can not generate the animation per time step. Why can not I generate an animation with the time step at least for the Discritised phase ? If I am generating the animation for Iteration, does it really physically mean anything ? Does it shows the real flow development in the geometry ? Kindly help me with the problem, as I need it very urgent. Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.:c onfused: |

Have you been able to create animations of the continuous phase, for example velocity contours? If not, have a read of this tutorial on unsteady flow past a cylinder. If you're having trouble with the particle animation, a similar process can be employed and is discussed in this thread.

Thank you so much "e" for providing the resource.
