Hello all,
I have model of a double helical ribbon blade impeller that I imported into ANSYS where I created an enclosure the size of my mixing tank around the blade impeller and did a boolean subtraction, so that I could model just the fluid. My biggest issue though is setting up the initial boundary conditions inside Fluent for a single phase flow analysis. Could anybody give me any suggestions? I have heard that I can have the blades stationary while I have the fluid body rotating which eliminates the need for interface zones..? and I have also heard that I can set the blades in motion while the fluid is stationary? Thank you for the help! |
