Hello dear experts !
Sorry for bothering you, I'm totally blocked. I cannot converge the energy equation because of this error: "temperature limited to 5000 K in (4millions cells) in zone ..." I'm working on a simple stuff: this is a rectangular cross section channel, where a band is providing an heat generation of 33 kW/m2 (ie 3W/cm2) other walls are adiabatics. The fluid is an oil I ve properly defined According to similar topics, I've checked and tried few things: *BC: - oil : inlet 2.5 m/s at 403K - the face is providing 33kW/m2 https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0...FMMFk0NU5sbjNn *Mesh: - This is a simple "sweep method" , excellent quality (max skewness 0.11 etc..) - the first cell height has been calculated for considering the dynamic BL (inflation) Finally, my mesh consists of 7 millions cells (the problem is on 4 million!) - URF is 1 by default, I've tried til 0.8 or 0.7 - i've tried this stuff : "(rpsetvar 'temperature/secondary-gradient? #f)" It converges without energy equation. Then, if I active it after having the flow simulation, it doesnt work. This is my first day at work, since, I have ever pratised Fluent during 6 months..I dont know what happens, HELP ME Pleaaseeee Thank you by advance. Julien |

Hm... could be the "heat flux" boundary condition. Maybe try to run some iterations with a constant wall temperature (an initual guess) at first an then switch to the heat flux bc.
