Hi all,

I am trying to import a fluent calculated results into CFD post. However, I can not find any mole fraction variables in CFD post. Anyway, I can find mass fraction variables in CFD post.

I am wondering is it because CFD post does not support mole fraction variables or I just did not notice this.

Best regards

Weiqiang

CFDPost does support mole fraction, however, not from standard Fluent data file. You will have to export .cdat files from Fluent with mole fraction as selected variable. Fluent does not save mole fraction values, rather calculates those on the basis of mass fractions and species' properties. Hence, those are not available in data file.

Hi,

I just tried your method by selecting mole fraction as variable and exporting cdat. File. Then in CFD post I can check mole fraction variable.

Thanks very much for your help!

Best regards
