Simple Equilibrium in each Cell?

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a simple way to go from a detailed chemical kinetic mechanism to pure equilibrium in each cell. I don't think the Relax to Chemical Equilibrium model would work, since it still "only" creates a source term that moves the composition towards equilibrium, but does not force it immediately. Optimally, a single iteration of true equilibrium calculations should be enough to get everything sorted, right? Would using dynamic mechanism reduction with only a single inert species as the target work? Am I overlooking something? Thanks! |
