I am about starting a study on Heavy fuel combustion. The first step will be to reproduce the atomization of the fuel. Fluent propose different boundary condition for that. Is anybody can share some experience about the use of these boundary condition ? worked well ?, work poorly ? ect ect ... THX

Sure i know that, i am just wondering how well these models work in case of liquid fuel atomization... if someone can share some experience thqtwould be great !

I'm using pressure-swirl-atomizer model with liquid n-heptane. For fast prediction, it's overall good but the SMD result is slightly higher than Lefebvre et al. correlation.

Hi, Mas. As for SMD, you got the overall SMD or local SMD? If it's for local SMD, could you please tell me how? Thanks!
