Hi, I'm trying to validate the blassius flat plate solution (2D)using a Fluent learning module accoriding to this web site with a very fine grid. (30 cells in the boundary layer) http://www.mne.psu.edu/cimbala/ after the solution the drag coefficient that fluent calculates is 2 times higher than that's in the literature. I know Cd=2Cf(L) and cf(x)=mom.thickness/x and the Cd that fluent calculated is the upper surface of the plate. the reynolds number is apprx 50000 at the end of the plate. I don't why this is happening even flow is laminar. do you have any website for this validations case.
Thanks in advance |
