Dear all,
i'm simulating wood logs combustion in fixed bed. I treated the whole wood logs as porous media and apply the non-premixed combustion. all researched paper seem to model the wood particle, wood chip, dust but not the wood log as what i'm doing now. i just wondering whther i'm doing the right thing or not? any advice/ thanks in advance |

you are not doing the right thing, you should use multiphase: solids, organic oils released at fast pyrolisis and gas
