Skewness & Decomposition

Hi,
Unknowingly, I've been running simulations where a low number of elements in a VERY complicated flow region have very high skewness. Unfortunately, I only realized this well into processing my simulations. I have since attempted to replace the very tight corners which were causing the skewness. However, this has made it practically impossible to make use of a rectilinear mesh. Aside from changing the geometry, are there other approaches that can be used to fix skewness? Thanks in advance. |
