Default Export of data at cells from Fluent.

Hi everyone,

I've a mesh of six million or so cells, and would like to specify a shape, encompassing cells I would like to export data from. I've had a search on the forum and found a few posts with similar requests, but no answers.

I've got as far as specifying a cylinder via Region -> Adaption, and marked the relevant cells. Now, I'd like to tell Fluent to assign these cells to a region, then export the data. I can't find a way, however.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Mark.

You can use the marked cell region to split the domian into different zones. Go to Grid->Seperate->Cells. You can then export data from the new zone.
