Hi,
I am simulating a complicated pipe and I am using k-e model with intensity and lenght scale at the velocity inlet boundary. the problem is, I found out that when you want to have contours of intensity inside the domain, the contours are calculated based on reference velocity, not your inlet velocity. now, my question is which intensity the solution is based on? the one I am giving explicitly at the inlet or the one calculated based on reference velocity? (the one I am giving is 15% and the one calculated is 70%!!) thx alot |
