64-bit operating system -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

anupmaeca New Member Anupma Join Date: Jan 2010 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	My system configuration is Pentium dual core CPU T4200 @ 2.00 GHz, with 4 GB RAM and 64-bit operating system with windows vista home premium, the problem is that when I installed fluent 6.3.26 , Fluent is working properly but Gambit is not functioning...and it gives the following error Gambit build SP2006032921. Warning : The current transport does not permit the attempted TCPIP connection. TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr): tnamebysocket() failed TRANS(SocketINETConnect): TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr) () failed TRANS(Open): transport open failed for tcp/anupma-pc:0 Unable to open display While the same version of Fluent 6.3.26 is running well in 32 bit OS and windows vista ...could anyone tell me what is the problem...why Fluent is running but gambit is not opening..Is it related with operating system...how I can rectify it...
