At first I wanna say, that my English isn't very well but I hope you'll understand my problem.
I wanna know the influence of the meshing error on the simulation. I just wanna validate the Meshiing process, not the whole simulation. The only thing i found for validating a cfd mesh is the Richardson Extrapolation ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richardson_extrapolation ). The Richardson Extrapolation says the more cells you use, the less the deviation caused by the mesh is. And with the Richardson Extrapolation you've got a percentage of the deviation. Are there any other options to validate a mesh? Regards Gregor |
