Hi everyone,

Could anyone give me some instruction on simulation of a pipe flow (the main flow) with a recirculating loop (secondary flow)?

The physical problem is described in the attached figure. The oil-water mixture flows from the left to the right hand. It is sucked by a pump (at a given rate downstream) and is re-injected to the front through a number of small jets.

To me, there are two inlets and outlets. Is it possible to simulate this process using FLUENT?

Any instructions are appreciated!

Regards,

Jing
