hi
i have problem for 3D structured mesh. i want to mesh space between two concentric cylinders but GAMBIT makes logical error! strangely number of nodes are correct and equal in connected edges and faces but it makes error and i cant generate 3D mesh!!

try and mesh it in ICEM-CFD there you can control your mesh and its a advanced version of meshing

Just out of curiosity...can't you create a rectangle (offset)...mesh it and revolve geometry with mesh?

hi dear friends
thanks for your help, i solved this issue with selection of volume (map-cooper) in volume mesh tab in gambit, i have selected wrong surfaces to propagate my mesh in the volume make a negative volume cell because of wrong mesh setting in faces.
thanks all
regards

dear virendra,
no i cant because i want to have just 1 volume, if i i revolve the face 360 degree, mesh will eliminate from all volume. you can revolve mesh for less than 360 degree in 1 volume, if you want revolve , your volume should splite to two 180 degree revolves.
