Hi all,

I'm writing a DNS code, solving Linearized Euler Equations.

In the problem, I should feed the equations with inflow forcing at the boundary, then this forcing will trigger some instability waves to develop and these instability waves are investigated in terms of their sound radiation.

Now the problem is that the inflow forcing will also generate sound, contaminating the farfield sound field. We only want that the farfield sound comes from the instability waves.

So, my question is do you know any silent inflow forcing boundary conditions in terms of sound radiation? The farfield nonreflecting boundary condition is well implemented in the code.

Thanks.
