Hi all,

I am tiring to solve a 2D laminar channel flow with FDM. I discretized the momentum equation in x and y direction and also I wrote the matlab code and it works. now I am wondering to know if there is any possibility to discretize the equation just in x direction and let matlab to do it in y direction or maybe in both direction?

You may be able to make use of MATLAB's pde toolbox rather than explicitly code the discretized momentum and pressure equations.
