I have been enrolled in the programme since its very beginning. I took both basic modules (FEM and CFD) and six advanced modules. All togeter surprised me in the positive sense. My level of knowledge in the field of numerical analysis increased significantly. Benefits of the programme can be seen at work, where I am able to solve very demanding problems in a very confident manner. However, despite the fact that all course material is provided and that you can ask professors in the Moodle forum as many questions as you want (high quality answers), it is still completely up to you how much effort will you put into the subject. At the end it can result in the similar amount of knowldge as taking a Master's from the university or taking a two-day training class. |

I am studying this Master's degree (therefore the previous knowledge is necessary). You should have at least one or two complete semesters related to fluid mechanics. For instance, the first subject of the program has two parts: theory (similar to computational fluid mechanics books) and practice with tutorials and material (also theory and cases) from ANSYS. There are active forums where teachers help to solve the tasks and questions of theory and practice. Best regards. |

Hi all,
Hope is ok to bring again old post :/ I am looking forward to do an MSc in CFD focused in Civil Engineering, I've read through the comments and do a bit of research of the options (UK Based/Online) that allow Part time, since I'm working (So discarded the Imperial College MSc), I've found so far that seems interesting: http://www.upm.es/Estudiantes/Estudi...889&fmt=detail https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/courses/...fluid-dynamics https://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgradua...nite-elements/ Have any of you go through this courses and may I have any feedback from you? Thanks very much. Kind Regards. |
