anon_q is on a distinguished road
Hello,
I have some questions about atmospheric boundary layer (ABL), I think I am a little bit confused.

AFAIK, there are three types of ABL: stable, instable and neutral. But in some papers I find the homegenous atmospheric boundary layer (there is no gradients in the streamwise direction).

My question: is the homogenous ABL a fourth type of the ABL?

Please correct me if I am wrong. Or could you please give me a reference that could help me calrifying this abmbiguity?

Thank you
