Hiya, I need to move the rear wing around separately to the car to position it on the car. I then want to create one part. But how do I move one around and not the other. I am new to CDF and do not know what I am doing so any support is appreciated.

It depends...

If you have stuff in Geomety=> Parts. Then you just right click the wing and go to transform=> translate and follow the prompts.

If you don't have parts but only stuff in 3D-CAD models, then learn to CAD is the short answer.

Once you have the parts where you want them then you can shift-select both parts and then right click and do a boolean operation to get the part you want.

Hiya,
Thankyou for your reply.
I have been able to use translate to get it roughly into position, but it is not in the correct orrientation.
Is there not simply a way of individually moving the part, including rotating?

In addition to translate you can also rotate if you click rotate instead of translate. You just have to do it in 2 steps instead of 1.
