hello,

I do an aeroacoustic simulation for configuration of cylinder-naca0012.

the location of microfone is somewhere in far field.

As you can see the blue curve calculated relatively similar as the reference, but in the very low and high frequency (in diagramm Strouhal number) my results show much smaller PSD.

Has someone similar experience as these results?

+ I used Curle's analogy and the reference FW-H.

I found a paper and if you see the figure 13, their PSD values which were calculated with Curle's Analogy also show not matched results in the low and high frequencies...

Is Curle's Analogy not able to calculate correct SPL and PSD in the frequency areas?
