Hello everybody,
i hope someone can help me, as I am running out of ideas. I am simulating a case with chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam in OF. I also have experimental Data from an old paper. Basically, it is a simplified car-interior. Most important for me is the flow over the windcreen. My problem is, that though i get a nice velocity distribution near the windscreen, my velocity magnitude is off by 30%. the inlet velocity matches the experimental data. The problem is not dependend on the mesh, also switching from k-w-SST to k-e turbulence modell didnīt really change a thing. my y+ values are <5 as I use wallLayers. Does anyone have an idea, what the problem might be? Thanks in advance, Leo |

Have you check the scale of your model? whether it is 1:1 with the paper scale.

Thank you for your input, Jeeloong!
I actually did check that, as i had some geometry issues before. "Unfortunately" it matches the size of the "paper model" exactly. |
