I am comparing 2D-contoured results in CFD-Post (computed by ANSYS Fluent) with experimental data, which is processed by MATLAB. To compare CFD result and experimental data in a fair manner, their colormap (including style, number of color levels, RGB value for each level, etc.) must be exactly the same. However, the colormap in MATLAB (such as "jet", "hsv", "grey" etc.) cannot be found in CFD-Post, and vice versa. Could anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? Do I need to switch to other CFD post-processing software?
I believe this is typical question for anyone who want to compare MATLAB-processed experimental data with ANSYS-computed CFD results... |

I spent 10s with Google. It is not that hard.
Matlab https://github.com/DrosteEffect/BrewerMap https://de.mathworks.com/matlabcentr...form-colormaps Ansys Fluent https://github.com/jrwrigh/fluent_colormaps Suggestion: You may use Viridis for both. Regards |
