Steady-state vs. Transient for Wheelhouse Simulation

Hi everybody,
I have some questions concerning the simulation of the flow inside a wheelhouse. My first (perhaps stupid question) is: In a transient simulation, the time is taken into account and the wheels are modeled in a rotating manner with a corresponding sliding grid. Does this mean, that in every steady-state simulation, the rotation of the wheels is not taken into account, i. e. the wheels are modeled stationary and do not rotate at all? Thank you very much! Slightly different topic, but the same approaches can be used here. |
