Are gmshToFoam und IdeasUnvToFoam dead?

Dear colleagues,
I have tried to convert gsmh-msh and Salome-UNV mesh formats to foam but I could not get the simulation running. Beautiful meshes generated by gmsh returned lots of inconsistencies in gmshToFoam. IdeasUnvToFoam can convert UNV-meshes but the simulation just does not go on. Otherwise, if I use snappyhexmesh, the simulaiton run smoothly. Are gmshToFoam und IdeasUnvToFoam dead? This thread suggest a orientation problem: gmshToFoam warning - cannot match faces. However, I didn't understand that. Any comment is welcomed. Best, Masb |
