CallumG is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I'd firstly like to say I am very new to OpenFOAM and Linux so please be gentle with me! I'm sure most of my problems are due to being incredibly green but anyway...

Essentially what I am trying to understand is the process of getting SOWFA to compile running the ./Allwmake command as per the installation instructions. I have read the README files and the NREL presentation slides aong with lots of forum posts, and seem to be comming up against some conflicting information. At present when I run the ./Allwclean command, returned is a series of:

./Allwclean: line <#>: rmdepall: command not found

and the ./Allwmake command returns the attached.

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS and OpenFOAM-dev (From OpenFOAM-in-Box-19.10v1). I had opted to use the OpenFOAM in a box from CFD-support as I'm new to Linux and this seemed the most forgiving approach to start with, the OpenFOAM core version is v6 according to CDF-support's website. Now I know from the README files in SOWFA it specifies "OpenFOAM Version: 2.3.x or 2.4.x", however from the NREL presentation slides it states "Make sure you have OpenFOAM 2.0 or higher installed". So I suppose my first question is do I need to start again and download a much older version of OpenFOAM? If so I'd like to know how to install on my OS, the following link suggests my version of ubuntu isn't supported https://openfoam.org/download/2-4-0-ubuntu/

If indeed my current version of OpenFOAM is adequate I can only assume I have some error when I editted the .bash_profile file https://github.com/NREL/SOWFA/commit...96c8e4891053e1 . I changed:

15) export inst_loc - to where my OpenFOAM installation is
16) export spack location - to my home directory

41) export OPENFOAM_VERSION=dev
44) export WM_PROJECT_USER_DIR - again to where my OpenFOAM installation is

Any and alll help would be very welcome on this!

Thanks in advance,
Callum
