Did any one try installed foam-extend-3.0 in cluster?

Dear Foamers,

happy new year.

Thesedays, I'm trying to work in cluster. I'd like to install all OF versions that I used in cluster, OF-2.2.2, OF-ext-1.6, and foam-extend-3.0 especially foam-extend-3.0.

Any one tried? If any what are the steps?
Are they the same as the regular installation?

Any reply would be welcome.

Hi Maimouna,

It's suppose to be easy:

You follow the usual installation instructions on the master node. Although make sure to use the system's MPI toolbox, so that you get the MPI and settings that the cluster is configured for.
rsync, scp or whatever is your favourite copying/cloning application is, for copying the installation from the master to the slave nodes, onto the same installation path.

Unfortunately, no, that page doesn't describe how to install on a cluster, but it should give you the basis to understand how to install where you want it to be installed
