Hi all,

I am trying to install swak4foam2.x on ubuntu with OpenFOAM 3.0.1. I have an error message when running ./Allwmake after ./Allwclean. I do not know how to fix this.

Code:
This is a clean install

/home/gregor/OpenFOAM/gregor-3.0.1/swak4Foam_2.x/privateRequirements/bin existing. Prepending to PATH-variable (private version of Bison)

No file 'swakConfiguration'. Python etc won't work. See README for details
Try 'ln -s swakConfiguration.automatic swakConfiguration' for automatic configuration. BEWARE: this does not work on some systems
Checking swak4Foam-version and generating file
abort: no repository found in '/home/gregor/OpenFOAM/gregor-3.0.1/swak4Foam_2.x' (.hg not found)!
Swak version is 0.3.2
Bison is version 2.7.12-4996
Flex is version 2.5.35 (Minor version: 35)
OpenFOAM-version: Major 3 Minor 0 Patch 1 (-1 == x / 1)
No swak4FoamParsers/foamVersion4swak.H. Generated
wmakeLnInclude: linking include files to simpleFunctionObjects/lnInclude
make: *** No rule to make target `Make/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/SubsetValueExpressionParser.o', needed by `Make/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/CellSetValueExpressionDriver.o'. Stop.
wmake error: file 'Make/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/sourceFiles' could not be created in /home/gregor/OpenFOAM/gregor-3.0.1/swak4Foam_2.x/Libraries/swak4FoamParsers
Parser library did not compile OK. No sense continuing as everything else depends on it

Requirements for Library not satisfied. I see no sense in going on
Check the README before you go on to ask. And search: Most likely your problem occured to 5 other people before and has been solved on the MessageBoard
If anybody can help that would be highly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Gregor

Quick questions:
  1. Which Ubuntu version are you using?
  2. Which installation instructions did you follow to install OpenFOAM?
  3. Which installation instructions are you following for swak4Foam?

Greetings noori and welcome to the forum!

Please go into the swak4Foam folder and run the following commands:
Code:
./maintainanceScripts/compileRequirements.sh
./Allwmake > make.log 2>&1
gzip < make.log > make.log.gz
Then please attach the file "make.log.gz" to your next post.

Best regards,
Bruno

Quick answer: Sorry for the really late reply. I don't know if you've solved the problem, but whatever happened had to do with when you ran this command:
Code:
./maintainanceScripts/compileRequirements.sh
Therefore, if you still have this problem, run:
Code:
./maintainanceScripts/compileRequirements.sh > log.makeReq 2>&1
gzip < log.makeReq > log.makeReq.gz
Then attach the file "log.makeReq.gz" in your next post.

In addition, I need to know which Linux Distribution you're using.
