Greetings.
I really need help to solve this problem. My OS is Ubuntu 16.10. GCC version is 6.2.0. mpi version is 1.10.3. uname -m is x86_64 I installed OpenFOAM 3.0.1 by following this guide https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...u#Ubuntu_16.04. I did not find the guidance for installing Openfoam 3.0.1 on Ubuntu 16.10 so i used this guidance. I followed step by step of the process, but while i checked the "icoFoam -help" step, i got this message : "icoFoam: command not found". Then i open the log file, it show several report like these: 1. " ‘isnan’ was not declared in this scope 2. "/home/feb/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-3.0.1/wmake/rules/General/transform:8: recipe for target '/home/feb/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-3.0.1/platforms/linux64GccDPInt64Opt/src/conversion/ensight/part/ensightPartIO.o' failed" 3. "make: *** [/home/feb/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-3.0.1/platforms/linux64GccDPInt64Opt/src/conversion/ensight/part/ensightPartIO.o] Error 1" i attached the gz log file. I have searched about "isnan" problem that occured in my OF 3.0.1 installation cases and i found this link : https://github.com/xournalpp/xournalpp/issues/167 The link suggest to : replace #include <math.h> with #include <cmath> replace all instances of isnan with std:isnan But i do not understand which file i should edit and i am new on Ubuntu and Openfoam. Or is there any more simple way to fix my OF installation problem. Any help or clues will help me and i really appreciate it. I am sorry for gramatical errors, english is not my native language. Thank you in advance Last edited by febriyan91; June 7, 2017 at 05:21. Reason: i found additional information |

Quick answer: This is already fixed in OpenFOAM 3.0.x, which is the bug fix version of the OpenFOAM 3.0 series. This issue was originally reported here: https://bugs.openfoam.org/view.php?id=2041
The fixes that you need to do are given in the following pages in detail:
