It pains me that I think that you didn't read the thread I posted in my post #5...
Anyway, you have an updated cmake in the package ThirdParty-1.6.linuxGcc.gtgz. Download and unpack it like you did for ThirdParty-1.6.linux64Gcc.gtgz. Then start a new terminal and try again to build ParaView. And please use the # button for posting code and outputs here (available in advanced reply mode), because otherwise the text comes out messed up ![]()

i have downloaded cmake-2.6.3-linux-i386.tar.gz from the www.cmake.org and where should i unpack it??....and can you please tell me the command since it is .tar.gz format??....
