Hi everyone,
This question might be pretty stupid but I'm running a case for flow past a cylinder and I noticed that my results were not symmetric, as expected (the postive y side consistently has higher velocity, etc). I tried doing a case for Re = 40 and using a slip condition on the cylinder to see if I could get perfect potential flow, which I do, except that when I use streamlines, it's obvious that the two sides are not symmetric (see image). I've attached my blockMeshDict too... I'd appreciate any help in spotting the asymmetry here! Thanks in advance Ariel |
