Hello everyone,
I am trying to mesh an aircraft using snappyHexMesh. But the thing is, OpenFOAM is unable to create a mesh over the aircraft geometry. It only meshes the farfields which I define using the blockMeshDict file. After giving the meshing commands, I find that nFaces = 0 for the patch corresponding my aircraft. I tried using the same OF files for a different stl file and it works. Of course the problem is with my geometry. Can somebody please help me in repairing the geometry. I have attached the link to the stp file which can easily be converted into an stl file using Salome, Gmsh or any other CAD tools https://grabcad.com/library/piaggio-...lder_id=737635 |
