Hi

I am facing trouble while using snappy hex mesh in foam extend 3.1. "surfaceFeatureExtract" did not work. Hence I used "surfaceFeatureExtract -includedAngle 150 constant/triSurface/*.stl constant/triSurface/*eMesh". I copied all the initial* and final* files to "constant/extendedFeatureEdgeMesh".

Then I executed blockMesh and snappyHexMesh. I found fatal error as "problem while reading header for object *.eMesh". This means FoamFile header is not present. So I added manually. It then pop up new problem.

i also tried to copy (1) files generated after surfacefeatureextract (run in OF v1606) (2) entire polymesh folder generated after snappyhex mesh run in OF v1606.

(1) snappy mesh started but stuck at Feature refinement iteration 1
(2) failed in checkMesh of foamextend3.1. error was unexpected class name faceCompactList expected faceList while reading object faces

Can anyone have such issue and how did you resolve
