Dear foamers,
I am dealing with a strange behaviour of snappyHexMesh. I am using the -overwrite tag to store the new mesh inside constant/polyMesh. Until now, it worked without any inconvenience. However, since yesterday, the "points" file from snappyHexMesh is not copied into constant/polyMesh (instead, the original "points" file from blockMesh stays there). The correct file is stored at 0/polyMesh, and I have to manually move it into constant/polyMesh if I want ParaView to open the case without errors. I don't know what did I change since yesterday that can cause this issue. Any ideas on how to solve this, so that I do not have to copy the "points" file every time? I know it's just one line of bash script, but I would like to avoid it if possible. Many thanks! Edit: Playing around, I have seen that this only happens when the cell count of the mesh is large enough. Smaller meshes do not produce this issue. Last edited by katiuskas; May 23, 2022 at 13:16. |
