Skewness number -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

JulytoNovember Member Jason Eason Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Portage, Michigan Posts: 45 Rep Power: 16	Could someone tell me how skewness is calculated via OpenFOAM's checkMesh? 1. Is the skewness number base on volume or angle. 2. Is the skewness number base on the highest skewed cell? Or an average of the summation of all cells?
