Hi all,
I am using topoSetDict and createPatchDict to select a part of the patch and make a new patch out of it. But the new patch doesn't include all the cells in the bounding box. Could someone please explain why? The red cells in the attached graphics is the new patch. It can be seen that it skips many cells in box (0.0 0.006 -0.001)(0.016 0.006 0.0); My toposetDict and createPatchDict is as: Code:
actions ( { name f0; type faceSet; action new; source boxToFace; sourceInfo { box (0.0 0.006 -0.001)(0.016 0.006 0.0); } } ); cteatePatchDict Code:
pointSync false; //org // Patches to create. patches ( { // Name of new patch name Inlet; // Type of new patch patchInfo { type patch; } // How to construct: either from 'patches' or 'set' constructFrom set; //org //constructFrom patches; // If constructFrom = patches : names of patches. Wildcards allowed. patches ("periodic.*"); //patches ("topAtmosphere"); // If constructFrom = set : name of faceSet set f0; } ); |
