Hi everyone.
Does anybody know how to get these velocity profiles for developed turbulent velocity in rectangular channel using simpleFoam and k-epsilon or k-omega methods? The maximum velocity is usually found just below the surface. I'm new into openFoam. I've been using those methods but my velocity profile always gets uniform. I attached the schematic of my case and results. velocity distribution profiles that I want to obtain (just for non random profiles-rectangular, trapezoidal etc.) https://www.brainkart.com/article/Ve...HD7gp4FqLGgCf8 |
